Divemaster 

The Dive Master course is a crucial step for divers who aspire to become leaders in the diving community. Whether you're aiming for a career in the diving industry or seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge as a passionate diver, the Dive Master course offers an immersive and rewarding experience. We offer both SSI and PADI divemaster courses.

Prerequisites:

    • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.

    • Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent from a recognized training agency.

    • Rescue Diver certification or equivalent, including First Aid and CPR training.

    • At least 40 dived for PADI Divemaster or 60 dives for SSI Divemaster. 

 

Duration:

    • The course duration varies but often spans several weeks or even a couple of months depending on the person, allowing ample time for comprehensive training and skill development.

 

You will complete:

    • Dive Theory: In-depth knowledge development covering dive physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory, and environmental considerations.

    • Dive Skills: Advanced dive skills and techniques, including buoyancy control, navigation, deep diving, night diving, and search and recovery.

    • Leadership and Supervision: Training in dive planning, risk assessment, problem-solving, and effective communication as a dive leader.

    • Professional Conduct: Ethical considerations, customer service, and professionalism in the diving industry.

    • Practical Application: Hands-on experience assisting instructors, leading dives, and managing dive operations under supervision.

 

Exams and Assessment:

    • Written exams, practical assessments, and evaluations of dive leadership skills ensure candidates meet the required standards for certification.

Once you become a Dive Master you will be able to: 

  • Assist Instructors: Supporting dive instructors during training sessions, supervising students, and providing guidance and assistance as needed.

  • Lead Dives: Leading certified divers on guided dives, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing briefings on dive plans and site conditions.

  • Safety Management: Monitoring dive conditions, assessing risks, and responding effectively to emergencies or incidents underwater.

  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service, addressing diver needs and inquiries, and fostering a positive and enjoyable diving experience.

  • Environmental Stewardship: Promoting environmental awareness, conservation practices, and responsible diving behavior to minimize impact on marine ecosystems.
